A portal to a magical realm exists in the forest in the peaceful city of Briarwood, which is home to many magical creatures. The magical creatures have lived peacefully on the virge of the human dimension for years. Their only rule is to not venture into the human world. Citizens of Briarwood are discouraged from entering the forest due to unusual stories that surround it.
The Rootcore is inside of a tree and is entered through the mouth of a dragon head. Inside exists the Xenotome and other mystical artifacts that help the Mystic Force Rangers in their fight against evil. The Rootcore resides inside the magical realm within the forest.
